Following the discussion at the July AGM, the capability has now been added to the website for anyone to choose to receive emails automatically whenever a new post has been added.
All you need to do is look on the right of the News page, enter an email address and press “Subscribe”. An email will then be sent to that address requesting confirmation. After that you should receive email advice whenever a new post has been added. You won’t be sent an email if a post is edited or a new page (not post) is added. In principle, you should not therefore be swamped with trivial emails. Note that the website team cannot see who has subscribed.
